A forumite was kind enough to gift his redundant helm seat to oldgits chair-ity project AKA
Sarah T.

This unfortunately lead to more blimming expense in finding a seat to match.After much rummaging managed to find a company to produce this

Made up to my measurements and as close as we could get in fabric/style to match other seat.
nice sturdy job and dead pleased with result.
Total cost £170.00.

Exactly the sort of company I was looking for to replace the tired folding seats in Ex Libris, thank you.

For any Thames boaters mystfied by the white round thing under the throttles it is aparently called a
...... C-O-M-P-A-S-S...

Nope .....no idea what it does either,just seems to go round in circles a lot :)
