I've got an old trailer that seemed to work fine but the end where you connect to the tow bar has rusted and I can't turn it to line it up with the tow bar because it has siezed up.

Does anyone have any experience of sorting this out?

Thanks.

Buy a new one. If its that badly seized you cant be sure of cleaning the hitchlock mechanism enough for it to work properly. Its all that stops the hitch riding up off the towball under load.

And you really dont want to risk that coming undone on the motorway...... !
