Jimi,

Please please please sort this weather out.
Neraida is now back in the water with her clean, freshly antifouled bottom, her keel is smooth, the transducers are re bedded and not leaky and she had several coats of polish on her topsides.
So, as it is JULY, can we please have some JULY TYPE WEATHER please. I don't mind abit of wind, it makes us go faster, but 5 days of rain is abit off.

I'm sure we can have a whip round to pay for Glen Rosa's lift out if required.

Cheers.

At least Nicho is off the delivery trip scene for a while! That alone should be enough to ensure some good weather soon /forums/images/icons/laugh.gif

Sorry Nicho, hope you recover soon, and get some sailing in

You thought we had weather problems?

... not like <A target="_blank" HREF=http://www.drunkstunts.com/pafiledb/pafiledb.php?action=download&id=108>THIS</A> though. Imagine it during the Saturday club Oppie race. Doesn't bear thinking about.

jees, I thought they took ages to build up and gain strength, that seemed to come from no-where with power and then fall apart again.

Stunning.

BIG dust devil, quite common in deserty type areas not so frequent in built up places. Must have been a bit scary for the kids though.

Re: You thought we had weather problems?

Reminds me of a story I heard here. Apparently, a water spout formed in the yacht club pool in Ocean Village, whizzed around very nastily and proceeded to dump itself on a man standing on the pontoon.
An amazed and shocked bystander then approached him to ask if he'd slept with a nun the night before.

Why would Glen Rosa be after a lift out then?

Dust devils - in the Namib desert you get them all the time, sometimes you would see 4 or 5 around you.

Only once did we get the timing right to drive through one and the jeep jumped about 4 foot sideways. Reckon they must have been about 40 to 50 knots of windspeed.

Cos ever since GR's keel kissed the water again the weathers been lousy, so either she needs lifted again or Jimi needs to make a suitable sacrifice to the appease the weather gods, since they're obviously still upset with him/forums/images/icons/smile.gif
