Hurray! Just completed the sale and am now the proud owner of a Oceanis 36cc based in the South of France!

Unfortunately, there does not appear to be any handbook for the boat and I am wondering if anyone would know either:

a; Was there one provided and, if so,

b, how to get hold of one. . . .I am having no luck on the Beneteau website

or

c, Is there a kind 36cc owner on this site who would be willing to send me their book to enable me to copy and then return it. Of course, all costs would be re-imbursed.

Any help would be appreciated

regards

Yes, there will be a handbook, but probably pretty limited just to comply with RCD requirements. Try the factory first - they will probably have it in PDF form (that is what Bavaria do), or if you have a dealer near you ask them. Another potential source is the owners association.

WE bought an Oceanis 36cc recently too over here in the USA. We do have the original handbook which is fairly basic 9 one half in French, half in English0 but shows things like where the various seacocks or thru hulls are located , basic wiring layout, plumbing etc I would think you could get one surely from the Beneteau factory, maybe going through a main dealer. If we were in the UK I would help you with a lend of ours but currently ours is in daily use by and is physically with the company we are using over here who are project managing and doing some major upgrades to the electronics etc, involving rewiring the mast and fitting all new transducers for speed depth, temperature, windspeed/direction plus new HD radar, AIS transmitter receiver etc (all new Garmin NMEA 2000 stuff , they use the manual because it has info on where original conduit runs are within the hull mouldings etc. we are trying to reinstate the default Benny stuff in some areas since the Previous owner had some weird ideas on 'improvements, some good ideas but way too complicated and he made no new diagrams or any notes....

We have yet to sail ours any distance since the seatrial we had on survey but are very much looking forward to getting the work done, the workers off and getting our new toy back. If you have aspecific question feel free to ask and I'll try and answer if I can. Our boat was built in France and shipped to the USA where it had lots of USA add-ons like full air conditioning and 110V AC shore Power system installed locally
