What is your best memory from this season?

Mine is heading alone the coast toward Dover, the sea was a mirror, it was nearing sunset and the sky was a pale pink, and the water looked like a silvery pink blanket . There was no wind and I had good company on the boat with me.

Mine was on my journey bringing the boat from Menorca to Del Sol, been through some rough on Ibiza leg, but on last leg Almerima to Duquesa (120nm) the seas were mirror smooth, and we were joined by some pilot whales and there calfs, brill

So it's true then! The best days with your boat are the day you buy and the day you sell!

The question was 'best memory from THIS season..

Now if i was to disregard the 'See boat for first time ' storey, Then my best memory would be, The first night we camped out over night with 7 other boats, had a great bbq, and camp fire on the beach and managed to down 3.5 bottles of great whiskey/forums/images/icons/smile.gif. And having to rescue 1 of the parties dinghy at 1.30 in the morning in total darkness. as well as singing and dancing to the pipes.

But yes you are right, i often say that phrase to other people..

First full season with the boat and the long hot summer.

Best of all, finishing work one particuarly hot Friday lunchtime, taking boat out and anchoring up overnight in quiet bay at north of lake, spent all Saturday lounging about and swimming. Back in to Marina Saturday night, bumping into some friends and having an alfresco supper watching a spectacular fireworks display

Absolute magic
