A few this week.
Permanent
1. UKHO are publishing a new edition of chart 2571, Swale from Whitstable to Harty Ferry;
2. Three of the yellow buoys put in by the London Array in the Knock Deep have been removed;
3. Wave recorder yellow buoy to the west of Ostend Entrance removed.
Temporary
1. Unexploded ordnance in the Oost Dyke. It's in 20+ metres so I doubt anyone here is going to drop their anchor on it.
2. An anchor and chain on the sea bed in the West Hinder anchorage. Again in over 20m of water so not likely to hinder (sorry!) us.
3. 5 day dredging from today in Felixstowe approaches and berths;
4. Salvage of the damaged Ro-Ro linkspan at Parkstone has started and will continue for an estimated 21 days;
5. From tomorrow work on extending Felixstowe No 9 berth starts with some dredging;
6. Notice from the Crouch HM that all the Middlewick stuff has finished and the temporary marks removed;
7. the South Sewer Cardinal buoy north of Lowestoft is temp. unlit.
That's it.
