Second trip for us but the bottom is not clean yet so a local jolley for us to Island Hsrbour. All aboard now at the top of the Hamble nice and cosy.

Was planning to have a day at Alum Bay but looking at metcheck, it doesn't look the best spot for saturday :( so not sure where we'll 'pop' to now.

:)

We must have just missed you Trevor! Just spent five days on board, Alum Bay, Yarmouth, Cowes amid Folly Inn. Photos and write up to follow once I have sorted them out. Currently recovering from a sun burnt face! Have a great weekend all.

Lots of passage planning needed for a run up to Ipswich! At least we can get tucked away enjoy some good food and beer and catch up on a few boat related jobs.

I had a walk past your boat earlier - looking good. Glad you had a good trip - but can we have the nice weather back now please !

Just returned from Yarmouth: I think we had the best of the weather for this week.
The return trip was as smooth as a very smooth thing: even getting waked out at the entrance to Chi Harbour produced "whee" sounds from the crew.

It's still not quite Summer Heat, so the smaller crew members did what they had to do to stay warm.

What on earth is this?
It seemed friendly, but I have no idea if it's good to eat or not.

Sorry we couldn't welcome you aboard this time. Perhaps we should organise a meet for all those at the top of the Hamble sometime? (Or anyone else for that matter!) I hope the weather gods smile on you all this weekend. I am not back down until Tuesday.

All seems good so far Paul, your work has passed the sea trial with flying colours :).
No stuck turbos here!
Just waiting on my new drinking water tank to be made, to finish things off.

Popping over to Cowes today for a couple of hours around lunchtime.....will be berthed at Shepards Wharf, so give us a wave if you see us...Nimbus 320 'Alice B'!

I'm hoping to either - get an afternoon with the old man on Kerekou maybe with the kids.

Or... have a go at the 1st launch of the year for my assault craft again - with the kids for a spot of fishing.....

So far, we've spent two nights at Island Harbour, one in Newtown Creek, one up the Hamble, two in London and tonight in Newtown Creek again - enough meat for two BBQ's at least. Was quit surprised to find a free buoy at 11am this morning. Plenty of space left - quite surprising. Oh, and don't go for the furthest one to the East - it's broken. Many people powering past to "grab the last one"...

Tomorrow night Lymington and then Yarmouth :-)
