Not the best weather but some of it OK for Easter - So who's out on the water !

We've been out all week: Bembridge, Yarmouth and currently in Poole. Been sunny all week, but not warm. Next stop Lymington but looking at the weather for Sunday and Monday we may just whizz back to Gosport tomorrow.

We run a B&B so went off on Wednesday as we are busy over Easter. Rolling wind over tide down to Newtown. Lunch on buoy while the tide turned - got nobbled for £8-50 just before we sneaked off then over to Poole Quay. Hengistbury was nasty - very confused seas. Spent Thursday on the Swanage steam railway. Friday came back via Keyhaven. Never anchored there but its a lovely spot for lunch - great short break and touch wood the boat didn't miss a beat - mind you se my other post on PBO about my outboard

We also crossed Christchurch ledge on Wednesday en route to Poole Quay. We were nearly two miles off the head and it was nasty, but worst was the approach to the Poole entrance channel where the depth shallows up - roller coaster! We are moored directly behind the mahooosive 40m Sunseeker on A so you all but walked past us!
Even the V65 berthed next to the 40m looks small, and our P34 like a bath toy. Will put up a picture when I'm home.

Nice weaither up here in Scotland so out for the FIRST TIME on ZEUS! Quick scoot along to Tarbert and a great night with friends! Will post some pics when I get to them...

Nice trip yesterday. In Gunwharf now came in yesterday afternoon. Looking at very heavy rain outside as we prepare a calorific lunch. Been a nice relaxing weekend anyway. Going to plod back to southampton later. It's only gales that hamper boating, and weather like this makes us appreciate the sunshine. Was still a shame Easter wasn't a few days earlier.
