Northern Weather?

Just to put a smile on the faces of our many fellow forumites from the Frozen North.

We have Force 9 gusting 11 off Chichester Bar at present. Yuk! Ho hum, would rather be on computer instead of messing with boats anyway! Liar! Liar!

Interesting to note Sea temperature almost same as air temp at 16C.

In Majorca it was cold, windy and raining. F9 in Plymouth. Whilst here in the frozen North, I've been mowing the lawn in my tee shirt..../forums/images/icons/laugh.gif Southern gits!!

Ha, you're only mowing the lawn cos it's always raining up there and the grass keeps on growing whereas down here it's been so dry the grass has died.

Suppose you've got the usual knotted handkerchief on yer bonce.

Knotted hanky for now, but have to take the whippets out for a run in a bit. The ferrets need feeding and the black pudding needs cooking.

We still have oil powered lights and get knocked up for work half hour before we go te sleep.

At least real work is done ooop 'ere, none of that poncy office stuff !

I've just exported a consignment of Black Puddings to Majorca. There seems to be an expanding market over there for Treacle Ore. I'm putting in for planning permision to open a Treacle mine in the back garden as Sabden Treacle mine closed down apparently about five years ago.
