The stout-hearted Santa Teresa is starting her - long time coming - sail from Medway to Chi tomorrow, v excited. Wind seems to be settling down over the weekend, we'll see how far we get. Have printed out the reams of useful advice to my previous question about this trip and we are fully stocked up with soup.

Any last minute advice? Other than "If it's blowing F7 like the past few days postpone your trip", that is...

Pips.

Justine

Have you seen the Synoptic Chart for 12.00 on Saturday? Id predict it will be pretty windy during the Day on Saturday - gusts of perhaps 35-40kts particularly in showers!

(See Jimis post on HAs the RTI ever been cancelled in Scuttlebutt)

Enjoy!

Yup seen it. theyr.net is my favoured weather forecasting site, and I'll be keeping my beady eyes on it until we leave Brighton early afternoon...

other weather sites show that the low does not move quite so fast, and thus there is a nice weather window from morning til abt 1600 on saturday.
