No fuel at cameret sur mer

Just to let people know that the fuel pontoon at Cameret is out of service, in fact the long pontoon is no longer attached to the breakwater and is no longer walkashore. No idea when it will be fixed.

It was U/S last October. I visited again in April on the assumption it would have been repaired, prompting this thread

Seems inexplicable as it must be the fuelling point of choice pre/post crossing the bay.

What I do now know is that there is fuel for yachts at Le Guilvenec and also at Ste Evette from the west wall at high water during office hours. Also at Brest Marinas if you're not heading N or S.

Morgat has a fuel pontoon which could be a close jump point for the raz.

Storm damage I think, just arrived at Benedet to find the long visitors pontoon here is out of action due to work. They do gave fuel though.

The French seem to be doing a lot of 'work' at the moment. Loctudy breakwater was closed last week whilst they were diving it and today work has started on putting new piles in at Locmiquelic to expand. Do they have to spend all their money before the end of May???
