Nice bit of weather in the uk for once.

Im not looking to get anyone into trouble, but how are you able/allowed to go so fast on an estuary? Boaters in Chichester are green with envy right now.
There is a special area set aside for going fast. It is quite a big area and it is the bit I was going fast in. Also in the winter months (1st October - 30th April) The whole river is derestricted. So I did not actually need to keep to any limits when this video was made. Of course through moorings one would keep to approx. 6 Knots not that many boats were moored

Wash is also misunderstood. If you are talking about River banks if you are at anything from low water to about 3/4 high tide where i am all you have is gloopy mud so as far as banks are involved it is not an issue but some like to bang on about it. As far as other boats are concerned and especially beached boats then wash is a completely different matter
