Next question .. VP AQ170a Gasoline engine RPM ?

I have distinct idea that my tachometer on the console reads high ... at idle - it reads 1100 - 1200 .... at cruise its showing 4600 - 4800 ... at near WOT its about 5500 ... out of gear if I rev to clear the engine after starting .. the needle can hit 6000

I intend to hand tacho the engine sometime ..... and if possible adjust the VP tacho ...

Anyone any idea how to adjust it ??
