I spent December helping Santa deliver Christmas. Every parcel in the known universe is marked fragile. Somebody has cornered the tape market.
At least the new generation anchors don’t need a this way up sticker...they are self righting

The Epsilon in your photo looks very crudely made...lots of rough edges
Just what I thought, an apprentice piece.

It’s replacing a £40 Delta copy, but it looks like it has come from the same back street metal shop.

Bought from a reputable uk chandler with a big online presence so it should be legit not a fake.

I have had a Delta from the same company and (despite it’s uselessness as a means to stop a boat) is perfectly manufactured

Mine is just like that - but it is approx half the price of a Vulcan and so far no complaints from the fish and mud in Poole Harbour - nor from me.

Perhaps the well made Epsilons are made under license by Lewmar and the rough ones by someone else....so still genuine

Same, bear’s arse roughness on my Epsilon. Worth noting that there’s no rust despite its questionable finish.

Seems to work and counting down the days until March so I can get the thing used again.

Half the price of Rocna, etc.

I wouldn't have believed an anchor could be damaged in the post but this was sent to me in 2017. It says a lot about both the quality of the anchor and the quality of Hermes delivery.

Ironically it was £20 which turned out to be exactly the same as a Lewmar one from the Chandler 400m from my back door which was visibly better constructed.
