At least the new generation anchors don’t need a this way up sticker...they are self rightingI spent December helping Santa deliver Christmas. Every parcel in the known universe is marked fragile. Somebody has cornered the tape market.
Just what I thought, an apprentice piece. The Epsilon in your photo looks very crudely made...lots of rough edges
I have had a Delta from the same company and (despite it’s uselessness as a means to stop a boat) is perfectly manufacturedJust what I thought, an apprentice piece.
Bought from a reputable uk chandler with a big online presence so it should be legit not a fake.
Mine is just like that - but it is approx half the price of a Vulcan and so far no complaints from the fish and mud in Poole Harbour - nor from me.Just what I thought, an apprentice piece.
It’s replacing a £40 Delta copy, but it looks like it has come from the same back street metal shop.

Thanks Tranona, I know you are happy with yours, and I was hoping you would post and tell me to stop fretting.Mine is just like that - but it is approx half the price of a Vulcan and so far no complaints from the fish and mud in Poole Harbour - nor from me.
Mine has Lewmar embossed on the other side of the Shank and the sellers stock sticker saying Lewmar EpsilonPerhaps the well made Epsilons are made under license by Lewmar and the rough ones by someone else....so still genuine
Could be the stainless steel version
