i have just purchased a fairline vixen cica 1974,any thing to look out for??i need advice on towing my tender a 270 quicksilver how far astutrn should i tow??

Depends how fast your going and how big the sea or wake is. Just get a long piece of string and tow it where it feels best. Thats the dinghy not you!!

You really should fill in your profile , so people can answer your questions easily by knowing if you are on a lake coastal or river based ?, which engines you have and so on..

I would tow a dingy with a floating line of about the lnegth of the dingy on it ! but there are ;ots of diffrent opnions on that and some pepole would say that you should not tow !

Once I had to rescue a dingy in very rough conitions and the missus will never forget that !
