Anyone know if the vivacity owners club still exists?

If not, I am quite happy to start one, build the web page etc, but only if someone shows interest.

Anyone interested?

Hello, I would be very interested in a Vivacity 20 owners association and by searching the net there seems to be quite a few others out there who also would be interested. I am at the moment working on my own Vivacity 20 which I have just bought and any help would be welcome. I am doing quite extensive repairs and what I learn may be valuable to others. Look forward to hearing more about this. Regards, homerj.

In your user options, there's a tick box to enable or disable PM's. You might need to enable it.

Site being built

Ok guys,
I've started making the website, I will post an entry on this forum when it is up and running - a couple of weeks I reckon.
Looking forward to 'talking' to other owners, swapping ideas etc and looking forward to input / ideas on how to expand it all.

I am new to all this forum lark, but have recently purchased a Vivacity 20, and would love to have an owners club site. along with any pictures of the interior of a Vivacity as I need to refit mine out as the previous owner had started and not finnished. also need information as to the Mast bolts aas they appear not to be with the boat and I cannot contact the previous owner, size etc .

just joined both. I've sailed the pacific on boats from 27 foot catalina to 43 foot cal. I've seen the sea in both glass smooth as well as spitting up a storm. glad to be part of the group. will be posting progress on our vivacity 20 we just got. her name is to be "sapphire"

Rudder Update S.V. Saphire

The rudder is coming along nicely. I've gotten a nice rounded leading edge and the trailing edge seems to be totally symmetrical. I didn't follow the original lines. I built this one in the same style as the catalina 22 rudder. I made the rudder about 10 inches deeper than the original to make up for some of the lost trailing edge. we'll see how this works out. If this fails I will go back to forming foam and glassing it to make one off the original shape. Will keep you all posted. input is more than welcome. pics to come soon.

There used to be JAVA, the Jaguar Alacrity Vivacity Association. This eventuaally folded, & the JOA (Jaguar Owners Assoc) was formed & ran for 7 years until taken over & degenerating to an chatroom web based only type group. Recently I think this has petered out , but I'm not sure. Just afer the initial JOA was formed, a separate Vivacity Owners group was started by someone I believe in the Beds/Herts region?
