surely Feu Vert or Norauto cannot be too far away.... otherwise every spainish town has a place where van-drivers and fishermen buy their batteries, oill filters oil etc and tools and usually near the back street repair places, these are the places to get the good long lasting stuff....

you require a bettery to do exactly what is needed in an old diesel van...., fit in the space allocated, connect to the existing terminals....START the engine....

go to any of the big supermarkets, in la Linea I went to Carrefour and got one for my 2litre VP MD22, basically a 2 litre Perkins Prima 50 hp. It was a No 16. 84 amp hr. €80 ish.
