Spoke to a friend last week who has ordered one so maybe Sealine's luck will pick up.

This newsletter from Sealine makes for good reading

In all seriousness, I think that the Sealine brand will do well under Hanse providing they retain the Sealine values of practical design, space and value for money and the fact that Sealines will be viewed as a German built product can only help them. It is just a bit sad that it often seems to take German ownership and management to show British industry how to profit from British brands. It will be interesting to see how Sealines look in a few years time after Hanse have designed their own Sealine models

I understood sealine were doing fine until the Brunswick group bought them and changed the sales route. Sealine owned most of their sales outlets and didn't need them to make a profit. Brunswick, changed all that and suddenly discovered that the distributors want a %. That inflated prices and wrecked one of sealines USPs. That was the beginning of the end. I suspect that sooner or later if sealine had never changed ownership the factory would have moved to Poland or similar to get the labour costs down.
