New Project

My mate is on the IOM watching the TT racing , he phoned me and says he was hallucinating he had seen bikes racing on the sea. My reply if you see a SUNSEEKER on the water then you are HALLUCINATING.

Interior finished…..bar a good clean up and a bit of carpet.

Very happy with it.

only thing I’d do different is maybe the doors in white. If I’m bored in the winter I can do that.

outside left and be time to get her in the drink!

A less talented person could take years to achieve a finish like that

Decals are nearly all off. It’s proving a right sticky mess! Especially the arch! What’s best for removing adhesive residue?

Spent the morning getting g covered in dust and generally having a crap time but it’s over…..antifoul removed! Didn’t it with 80 grit…..carefully. You really can hammer 80’s gelcoat ?

Even got her new name today ?

Another day cleaning up and be ready for strip painting after TT

"Sticky Stuff Remover" really softenens the glue. Then hold a new Stanley knife blade with mole grips and drag backwards to remove residue. Hope that makes sense!!

remind us, what is the final plan with the coloured strips? staying/going/changing colour?
Strips staying but going 2 tone grey. The hull and gunwales ones are under the gel. I’d have to paint the whole boat to removed them. Not happening ??
