I have been watching the progress of this closely for a while and have a friend who is on one of the local committees.
One of the biggest problems thrown up recently is the possible pollution from the Nar if they create the link to the Cut Off Channel. the whole area has been cleaned up in recent years and there is a genuine fear that to add the link will disturb spoilt land.
I hope it goes through as Kings Lynn and the East Coast need something between Yarmouth and the Humber. Though i doubt DAKA would stop off on his way through /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif

I agree with more developments for both weekend breaks and precious bolt holes. The wash is on my 'must go soon list' and a Marina with easy access has to be good news.
Besides I expect Kings Lynn will soon be on my track and no longer a detour ( thats if you take any notice of the doom and gloom global warming/sea rise rc's.) /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif
