just had a friends request for a person that joined today who lives in texas going by the name of allisonmarquez. I thinks they are up to no good has any one received any friends .

Whether a forum or Facebook, I work to a basic principle that if I have never met someone in person and at least had a one to one conversation with them, then they are not in a position for me to think of them as a friend, and I personally hate disingenuous suggestions I am someone's friend, when I have never met nor spoken with them.

This one looks particularly dodgy, but if it turns out their Uncle who died with $10M in the Bank following the Cuban Revolution and I am the sole inheritor then I am happy to provide the number and sort code of a suitable bank account in which to place it, at the remitters sole cost I would add.

I had a similar Friend request approach recently, so just forwarded the request for the attention of the mods. Keeping these charlatans at bay is essential.
