Apologies if this has already been posted, but here are some photos of the new Elan 210... looks an interesting alternative to the Beneteau First 21.7, or the Etap 21i.

Would be interesting to see how the outboard well works, I wonder if you have to open up the floor to use it .
I like the interior layout better than the 21.7 particularily the loo, my 21.7 had a loo so badly placed it was never used in 3 years.
However looking at it I suspect it will be a lot more expensive than the Benny.

Wonder if you can dry out with it? That would make it even better.
Aimed firmly at the racing market (Its an Elan after all) and is not suited to drying out. Wont sit on stub and rudders like Bendytoy
OB Idea is over complicated and uses up the under sole flubber storage space. No other cockpit lockers visible. Aft berths extend well under side decks so where do the warps and fenders go?
Keel lifting is not clear but probably like a sports boat with a temporary hoist through the cabin top. Then fixed down by bolted cap. Cheap mechanism but not cruiser user friendly.
Makes it a trailable yacht in reality so why bother with any intrusion in cabin might as well have had a fixed fin and bulb.
IMHO If they are selling a lifting keel capability it should have been part of a show demo.
Can you seal the keel box top off with keel raised?
If you cant then you will get rid of that new boat smell and replace it with the worst of low tide......
Humphreys design team... Could do better
Despite all this I wouldnt half like to have a go in one off wind with the asym kite up![]()
What I can't figure out is why there are no lockers in the very rear of the cockpit sides. From what I can see from the diagrams there must be a rather large amount of un-utilised dead space there.
