Nice pic Tom, how did the cruise go in the Pacific NW?

Do you know what height the mountain is, being still covered in snow mid-summer, it must have plenty of altitude.

Had a great trip, weather was fabulous and didn't drop below 70 degrees all the time we were there. Cruising in flat waters no wind blue skies is something I'm not really use too.

The waterside properties are something that only the very rich over here could even think of achieving.

The mountain is Mount Rainier 14000+ft it stands out almost all over the PNW and is always covered in snow although it is unusual for the top to be visible for weeks on end.

It's a super cruising ground and I'm very envious of those that have it on their doorstep.

That's a big mountain Tom, Swiss Alps sort of height.

It's certainly an area I would like to cruise, you're fortunate to get the opportunity to do it.

Also noticed you have been lusting after another (awesome) vessel in that area....:)

Nice photo, shame about the datestamp.

Most, if not all digital cameras embed EXIF data in the jpeg, so I can never see the point in spoiling a photo with it.

You should be more concerned with the dark spot on the lens which will need photoshop to remove and the fact that the horizon isn't level.

I'm told that this is still an active volcano and that if it goes off like Mount St Helens did Seattle will be lost.

Tom.
