New boat. Dog with 2 danglies

Congratulations Henry, she is stunning. As was your P42 too, someone got him/herself a boat as good as new.

Hope you have many happy miles on her!

Well done, lovely boat and excellent photos. Brave to be in Town Quay on a first trip, but with no wind and big thrusters (ooh err missus) it was probably fine. Did they put you just inside the entrance?

I'm reasonably good at close quarters stuff and although I was initially worried about increased windage my fears have been unfounded. The engines and props give very definite reaction to initial throttle input. So much so that there is button to de-sensitise the throttle controls if you want to.

Yes, we are just inside on the end of E pontoon.

Henry :)

Right then, here goes nothing. Technology plugged together in a fairly random basis all around an iPhone Internet connection.

Great pics Henry, great looking boat, really intrested to see how your chartering business develops. My daughter loved the picture of the seal, thanks for posting! Now we are off to Newton on Sunday! and I loved this other picture, kind of gives some scale to your boat... she's a whopper!

Congratulations :)

James

There seems to be some confusion. The good lady wife has asked me to confirm there are no seals in any of the photos. She promises not to get her kit off again and pose on the rocks in front of the boat :)

I can say that because at this very moment said wife and daughter are caning the credit card in West Quay. Damn Hollister - at the risk of sailing close to insider trading laws now might be a good time to get buying their shares !!!

Once again many thanks for the kind words.

I shall try to sporadically keep topping up photos of our journey. Managed to get a few interesting shots of Southampton today. The Queen Victoria is currently tied up next to us and we are sharing a 16 amp shore power socket. Saga something or other left yesterday under a cloud of black smoke, I think they could do with a bit of a tune up.

Henry :)

Henry :)

You're a much braver man that I am!
If I said that, the two danglies that you speak of in the title of this post would be firmly shoved from whence they came!!

Having departed Southampton Town Quay we battled the elements for several hours and have found ourselves in a small village called Warsash. Life is still getting no better on board. The sun steaming through the windows is, if I'm being honest, a little too warm and the ice in the drinks a tad on the chilly side. But worry not dear reader we are survivors and I feel sure will come out the other side victorious ;)

Classic Henry humour :D love it!

Stunning boat and photo's Henry, wish you every success for the new venture.

Congratulations Henry.
Fantastic boat, I remember looking up at her a few times in Swanwick, when she was up the end on the hard standing. Did wondered then if she'd been sold or was a new/used stock boat.
Anyway the P50 is a great choice if going down the FB route and she looks a beautiful spec from all those superb photos.

Enjoy her and hopefully we'll see you out on the water this year.

Regards

Phil
