New boat covers, any recommendations

I need to have some new cockpit covers made for the boat does anyone have any recommendations, im on the South coast .

My experience of Flexicovers is not the same as yours.

Flexicovers make the covers for Sunseeker. I threw mine out at 20 months old because they were very poor quality and lousy design. I had new ones designed and made by JB (new stays, different tubes, different tensioning, etc.), which were excellent.

I'm only a sample of one, but I wouldn't use Flexicovers again.

C&J Marine did some upholstery for me last month. When delivered there was a small tear in one of the seat cushions. They were mortified to hear that there was a problem which they had not noticed and immediately arranged to take the seat away and re-covered it.

I think that anyone can make a mistake and that it is the reaction to it which is more important so I was pleased with the work which they did and would happily use them again.

Well after leaving a few messages for some highly recommend person on here and never getting a reply I gave up. After a little bit of research and a few non starters finally settled on www.covercare.org.uk Covercare Ltd in Emsworth. 01243 372759 - Family owned business and seems a breath of fresh air.!

I had particular requirements, my boat has a commercial air about it with a long cockpit and two other cover makers both had ideas I just didn’t like the sound of... Dave was on my wavelength straight away. Price was also good.

now... right at the moment the order is in but he is waiting to be able to get to mercury to do the full measure up... so I will have to let you know how it goes... but I have a good feeling about it!

I'm currently awaiting my new cover from Jim (JB services) .

When I spoke to him 3 weeks ago he had 45 customers in front of me!!!

Luckily 2 of them were at my boatyard so I have jumped the queue.
