Hi, I looked on Walrus' website but I can't see an S34 for 85k.... they've got one for 104,950 but that's all as far as I can see.

Have sent you a PM too.

Matt

Sorry to be rude, but the above statement is utter crap!
You do not need an ICC to do cross channel trips, I think you do if you trail your boat to the Continent and launch it there.
Training is a good thing to have, an ICC is a good thing to have, but it is not a ‘necessary’ Qualification / document.

I reinforce NigelB's comment and add that you don't need any bits of paper to enter ANY port on the continent in your own boat. The ICC is only useful if you go inland from the ports and on to the Waterways, even then I don't recall hearing of anyone being asked for it though they must have asked someone.

Re: ICC

I have just returned from taking the boat to Paris and spent time getting the ICC Inland box ticked fro the trip. When I bought my VNF icence they were not the slightest bit interested and the only time we were asked for papers was on the last night in St. Vaast. Then they wanted passports and the SSR or Registry docs. It had to be ORIGINALS though, photo-copies of the Ships papers were unacceptable.
