Took a while to find it....

you can get a reasonably priced package from

http://www.picea-316.co.uk/PICEA/Tube.html for the steadying 25mm tubes and fittings.

The 75mm tube can be got from any local supplier, I got mine (which is only 50mm) from EJ Alloys in Southend.

I suggest getting the central pole (75mm?) and a clamp fitting that goes round it at the middle, with two steadying bars to go on existing pushpit, which picea supply fittings for.

This is how I mounted my 503.

The only bracket I had to make was the main tube to deck, which was just a pivot bracket really, with 4 holes through the deck. I had it made at work, so no cost, but it would be easy to make in a morning.

You know that Rutland will also sell you a mounting kit?

it has been used & will benefit from a "Buff-up"

Yep, I phoned them, but their post has gone up to £14.75 for 2 bits of tube. Harumph.

Thanks to all, but the splendid Mr Engines Dunn has sourced a 2.8m length for a tenner.

Total bargain, especially as he is delivering it direct to the boat for free.
