Has anyone had experience of Navis clothing? It claims to be British and made of Gortex but I can find no reference to it other than on ebay and the company's own website. Delivery appears to be from China, although its website says its British?

i just got a jacket. seems well made i stood in the shower in it to test it tonight (kids died laughing) but i stayed dry. As to the Gore tex? how do you test that without excertion and for that mrs smeaks would not play.

Two sources on ebay... one hk and one newcastle. the company claim to be in newcastle but who can tell where they are made.

time will tell but intial thoughts are they seem soundly made and quite canny. seem a lot lighter than my trusty old XM set. but then again most things are..

I am from Newcastle and have not heard of these people although their manufacturing base is allegedly here. Their web site “contact us” page is very basic and illegal as it should give an address and phone numbers. Most of their web pages just do not work, not even a “page under construction” It looks like it could be one of those sweat shop type establishments over there. I will use their contact us process and ask if I can call and try their gear on. Watch this space.

Sera-Tex is much light, soft and heavy-duty as well as wonderful textile fulfilling its own function even in an extreme situation because it is laminating special poly urethane film on all sorts of fabrics such as polyester, nylon, T/C etc.

That's from their web site. Looks suspiciously like a web translated section from something foreign. Which normally means a far eastern origin.
