Navionics Boating and Lakes app on phone / tablet - Route naming ?

OK ... I was never a great fan of Navionics before - like other - they basically sat on the back of Cm93 and Hydrographic Offices ...

With the advent of Boating and Lakes on phones / tablets and the small subscription costs per annum. I tried it and find it very good.

Its handy that sitting in cockpit - tablet or phone in hand - I can change / create / bend routes easily.

BUT one aspect drives me nuts ... lack of Route naming ... auto route saves as a number ... instead of asking for a suitable name. Only when I share via GTX - do I get to name it ...

Anyone worked out how to name a route when its created ?

All you do is to add/edit the name of the route in the box at the top of the route page.

Yep, cursor at end of route number, backspace to delete, type new name and press return (the need for the last bit foxed me for a while!)

cannot change from Route 0XX .. numbered - but if I choose a route and it displays - then I found I can look at details and change name there. Little bit more than replies ... but you guys got me to look harder ..

Tap menu, routes. Find and tap the route you want to change. Tap the edit marker adjacent to the route name, which looks like a pencil In a circle. Type your chosen name in, hit enter.
