Have you tried restarting device you’re using it on? I had a couple of incidents with Navionics freezing in the year or two I used it but the many advocates of it on this forum suggests it’s generally reliable and trusted.

You are paying for it - ask Garmin support for help; that should be the difference between paid and free software.

We've been having the same issue for the past week or two. No need to restart the phone or reinstall the app, just close the app and reopen it and it loads fine.

My Android phone Navionics kept wanting me to log in, then about 10 days ago crashed and told me to re-install the app.
I removed the old app, re-installed, logged in with an expired subscription account, it has just worked OK for two days on the boat.

I just changed phone .... did a smartphone install to the new .... (S8 to A34 Samsung) ..... Boating app was transferred .... even login went across ... But I just had to confirm new phone based on the Google account used to originally download the app.

Since then - have been playing setting up installation on new boat ... with all data passing via wifi to phone Navionics app without any hitch at all. No lock-ups ... no failed logins ... no reqt's to have internet ....

Makes me ask what am I doing that others are not ??

Not Garmin's decision.

You may easily find alternatives, maybe even cheaper or less governed.

For last 6yrs or so - Garmin has been owner of Navionics .... and true to Garmins style - they embarked on creating a split platform ....

Boating and Lakes App though has been great ... just a pity that the other side of the Garmin coin outlaws many Navionics users by the + formats .... why did they ruin the platform that was usable across the market .. so now its a game of Garmin and Others ....

I notice that many brands now have given in and later versions of their gear have adopted the + format ... sad. Why could they not have carried on an update service on the former format ....
