On the weekend my echosounder kept loosing the depth and reading "out".Decided a new one would probably be cheaper than a repair and silently cursed all things with wires attatched.
While digging out a long line that serves as a leadline(very reliable !)I noticed the bilge was a bit sticky where the oil had leaked out of the pipe the transducer sits in.
If only all problems where so easily fixed.
