Naked sailing

Barefoot may be all right when you are sat on yer 'arris in the cockpit, but as soon as you go on deck, sooner or later you are gonna cop a world of pain. I have done it myself and seen countless others do it too. Its far better to not go there.

I prefer to go barefoot in the boat and if I'm in a suitably warm and deserted area, a bit of naked sailing is quite fun! Although, we did enter an anchorage in Croatia where I ended up seeing way too many 'Bratwursts'... if I could have scrubbed my eyeballs with bleach, I would have.
