We get the same problem and a few weeks ago when we caught the driver lying, irrefutably so we contacted DHL who initially tried to give us the run around but when we gave them enough rope to hang themselves we opened the trapdoor and showed the proof of phone logs etc. They sent us €50 and the parcel the next day with a different courier.I agree.....except sometimes it is the driver....leaving off the distant town because it’s getting close to the end of the day...or pretending they can’t deliver because no one is there just so they can quickly unload at a parcel reception hub...so you have to lug heavy batteries home yourself.
But at the end of the day...until the driverless delivery system arrives....they are the face of the company....anyone else you talk to might not even be in the same country or real.
