What is the big black gaff rigged boat with the red antifouling?
Looks like a Bristol Pilot Cutter called Polly Agatha. I've emailed the owner to confirm as she normally goes ashore in Portsmouth harbour.
If it is her, a very nice boat to sail on and hard work !

Edit. Heard back from the person I emailed. Possibly a boat called Jolly Brise another Pilot Cutter.

She is the Jolie Brise: Jolie Brise - Dauntsey's School Wiltshire

We were sitting there watching the guy painting the hull, he was fairly covering the boat rolling and tipping. We were there to see about getting our boat painted, got a lot of info and some good tips on the work needed.

Bit of excitement there yesterday then
Yes we got rain of biblical proportions, but we were sat in a bar watching very we t tourists running for cover:) we watched Canarian news showing cars washed into the sea at gran canaria, quite a few places on Spain copped it! But it all seems to be over now and back to the sunshine we paid for.

We are slowly meandering up the spectacular coastal road towards the mythical St Tropez for lunch and more dog walking

Arecife took a bit of a hit, mostly down to the perennial poor drainage problem. Didn't see much rain here darn sarf.

Going up to Arecife shortly then Calero to meet friends for lunch so it's all normal again now.

Yes, I was kinda damp yesterday morning at the airport in Las Palmas and a bit bumpy but safely delivered to the island and hotel and the sun is shining.
Only big bummer is I have managed to lose my phone along the way I had it when we arrived at the airport so it's either been pickpocketed there or dropped in taxi. Not showing up in Find My. Been on to the taxi company and they are going to check with driver. Meanwhile going to buy a cheapie to keep me going.
