My Marina

I thought it might be interesting to see some interesting video or Pics from the Marina where you Keep your boat. This is my Marina on the Norfolk Broads in the UK called St Olaves.

My boat is the 'white' blob on the right hand side in Mosquito Bay (official name), now known as Turtle Beach..

Water is about 3-4'0" deep there and is a seaweed bed.

Will shortly (I hope) be mooring the Corsair F-27 a little south of the small white blob at the right in Cockleshell Bay.

There aren't many sailing boats berthed in majorca full stop, quite a few in the anchorages,but the majority of boats in the marinas are motor boats.

It is very interesting to see the vastly different places people on here are keeping their boats.

It is simply a brilliantly run marina in an idyllic location . I believe there is a waiting list for most boat sizes now. No it’s not cheap but like many things in life you get what you pay for and having shopped around it’s very similar to costs in the Hamble and Lymington. It’s not for everyone as it’s right in the middle of nowhere but if you want beautiful scenery, sheltered conditions and spotless facilities very close to the Solent, it’s hard to beat. I guess that’s why it wins awards.
