The Tradewind is still built, and they are highly sought after secondhand within the OP budget, for a reason, because they make a Bavaria look stupid.
I cannot see anything in the OPs requirements about sellability. As I explained the boats you mention are totally unsuitable for what he needs. They are not bad boats, but when did anybody buy therm for family pottering.
And I have been there. Just like several others making useful contributions here I own a Bavaria. Why? because it is the very best thing I can buy with my own money to meet requirements not dissimilar from the OP except that my young children are grandchildren and I keep it in Corfu. I do also have an old fashioned craftsman built long keeler arguablyy of similar pedigree to the boats you mention but smaller. Guess who does of lot of singlehanding with that one!
Oh, and by the way, if you can find it I suggest you read John Rock (designer of the Tradewind) on his brief for the design- which incidentally was for his own use. Could not have been further from a family potterer. The ability to turn the cockpit into something like a jacuzzi while anchored off a Pacific Island was one requirement
