Most depressing day

psychologists have devised a spurious formula which calculates that today is the most depressing day of the year, using variables like weather, xmas debts, failed resolutions.

so are you downhearted today?

personally, the sun is shining, it's monday and i don't have to go to work and in 10 days time it's summer. it's a good day /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif

Yes I am, my ex was getting it on with a friend of mine in the pub last night, I got drunk, woke up with a hang over, checked my bank ballance, my foot hurts, I got cold and wet washing down a customers boat in the marina this morning, the bright sunshine is making it dificult to see the computer screen and making my hangover worse, we are only halfway through this depressing day, its monday, its not summer time yet and my carrier retruned a gas cooker/oven for a customer of mine as they have dropped it and the glass door has smashed etc etc. <RANT ENDS>

it may be in queensland but we're off to melbourne! one day last month it was colder there than it was in wintry britain.

I told my wife about this interesting fact. She was a bit puzzled at first. Then I reminded her it is our wedding anniversay today. It didn't go down well at all.

Wonderful day!

I always said I'd ride motorbikes again when the kids had grown up, and today I did my Compulsory Basic Training. Cold, yes, but there is no such thing as inclement weather, only incorrect clothing - works on boats too. The sun shone, I slalomed round the cones, and rode out on the road, had loads of fun, made a new friend, got me bit of paper, YES!

Had to work a full day Saturday though, to make the space. /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif
