I have this problem on a car parked under a tree. A Google search suggests Dettol mould remover is effective. I' m going to try it (unless this thread produces better ideas!).
Try neat bleach or Jesus Fluid - but not together!
Take care with Dettol mould and Mildew remover . It is chlorine bleach based and also contains, as chlorine bleach products always do, a little caustic soda. It might not be too good for the car paint work! I prefer to use a bleach free benzalkonium chloride based product.
Try Milton like what your mum kept your titty bottle clean with
Thanks for the warning! Can you please recommend a brand of "bleach free benzalkonium etc etc"?
Jesus Fluid
I would have thought a wash with salt water might kill the moss.
A 2 litre bottle from B&Q provdes at least two possibly three treatments.
Was cheaper at Wickes last time i bought .
Milton is again a chlorine based product More dilute than household bleach and much more expensive,
There is no merit in using Milton for purposes other than those for which it is sold over diluting beach by about twice as much AFAICS.
