I have been reading with trepidation Full Circle's thread. We also ordered and paid a heft deposit on a new mainsail. With our regular (local) sailmakers.
I was just about to phone up to see how they were doing, when I got and email which starts:
"I was just getting around to finalising the design for your new mainsail..." and ends with a promise to re-visit Tigger this week to check some measurements.
pfewww....
I will let you all know how it goes (and yes, they gave me the best quote AND a 20% SIBS discount)...
Let's hope they will keep it up. I will name and praise in due course.
