.. how do you catch the buggers? I tried to entice a couple on board in Southamton water by waving a marmite sandwich at them but they refused the mouthwatering temptation, donned black balaclavas and abseiled up into the QM2 from their small disposable rubber duck .. is this behaviour in character?

I thought the way that you just went round and round was very amusing, try fitting a rudder/forums/images/icons/laugh.gif

You have to remember that the Mooses are currently out of their normal habitat. Not only have they migrated some way from Chichester, but they are also waking from their winter's slumber to the joys of antifouling and polishing. It is no wonder they are a little disorientated.

The only way I could entice them out, was by waiting until the sun had gone down and then promising them good food at a local hostelry. The fact that I got them out on false pretences is another story.

Having seen the mess (sorry wonderful job) they are making of their repairs I feel sure things will be back to normal soon.
