I think that was pretty good, not quite like the real thing obviously, but it does give you an idea of what it is all about. The amount of people who hop on my boat and say it is like driving a car, yes I say, when thay are blasting in a straight line. When it comes to mooring up it is a different ball game all together.

Yes. Much easier to park a boat than a car. Cars wont go sideways or turn in own length, also cant bump cars against walls, but ok for boats. Also cant stand on car bonnet and throw rope to bollard to drag car about.

huuum, insteresting way of looking at it.

I was actually saying that cars are easier.... /forums/images/icons/smile.gif

When backing into my garage, my car does not get swept away by a gust of wind and start side slipping across my front garden. It responds instantly to brakes and throttle and when stationary it stays stationary..... /forums/images/icons/smile.gif

If I did not care so much about my boat, I would stick my friends at the helm and say "bring her in, I will be in the back with a beer..." and let them see.

Anchor clamps

The harbour master at our marina was once faced with a repetitive late/non-payer. He finally resorted to unbolting the wheel of the offensive owners yacht. He wouldn't give it back to the owner untill he paid up his month's rent.

If you were clicking with mouse, won't work. Need to use keys as in instructions. If you can't get it to load, you don't have Java on your computer?

It's working fine here.

You coming to Scillies with us. Whisper said he might go. You and LJS, and pathfinders, and we'd almost have a decent meet
