Northney is expensive but provides excellent access. I can get my boat (draws 1.8m) in or out at almost any state of the tide without all the lock hassle, and I'm out of the harbour in under an hour. Previous boat was in Emsworth, which I rate very highly except for the restricted access. Emsworth was cheaper and has the advantage of being a stroll from the town centre with good shops, pubs, restaurants etc.

Parsimonius bugger

I always knew that the real way to get rich was pure parsimony......and I always thought JJ was dripping in it. Now I know how and why!

Thank you to Marcus, and to Bill for their helpful information. I will look into Nutbourne Creek, and will look for somewhere more convenient later. Regards, Becky

Hey James
Can I hang my new 24-footer off the back and call it a tender?
