The design of the Moonraker imho was stunning, but stability and confidence in big seas was not over reassuring. I eventually got into rag and stick and really enjoyed being in the water as opposed to wot dastardly and muttley boating.
My next boat though will be motor as age is overtaking ability.

I think p&o and cunard amongst others are under the same umbrella...back then though may have been independent...I was mainly involved with Cunard Countess, Princess and QE2 and Norwegian SS Norway ( ex SS France)
