moody 336 bring home or sell

The extra you might get for it in the UK may not justify the cost of bringing it back by road, or having it professionally delivered by sail. The latter will also carry a hidden cost in wear and tear on sails. Best bet may be to get it to a broker in the largest local yachting center, so that it gets seen by enough potential buyers.

If it is in good condition, always in private ownership, bring it back, worth much more here. But if it is ex-charter (no matter how it was managed), probably easier to sell it out there.

That's very much a black and white answer, the shades of grey are trickier.

Hi all

I’ve had the boat for the last 7 years and sailed he out there about 4 years ago , she never been chartered ,all ways in private ownership a lovely boat in very good nick and any one who knows of the moody will tell you a very good sea boat …

Only problem with sell her out there is there too many cheap ex charter boat that look good valve for money and some are but wouldn’t like to get caught out in real bad weather in some of them …

where abouts in Greece is she? I am looking at bringing a MOBO back from greece and not having much luck in finding anyone to do it. Best advice I have had so far is to bring her back under her own power.

How did you get your boat down to Greece?
