After my better half took a sailing course for ladies (+10 brownie points), decided sailing was fun (+100), became interested in sail trimming (I almost fainted, +1 million) and also realized sailing is not restriced to 63 degrees north but the Caribbean.....

Anyone have any suggestions or experience about boat hire and sailing on Monserrat?

Reason I ask is that I have just finished "The Road to McCarthy" by Pete McCarthy and enjoyed it immensely, especially his descriptions of the island. And SunSail have really annoyed my by telling me on their web pages to phone or email enquiries only to not reply first time for over 1 week and then not reply at all a second.....

Monserrat is a mess at the moment due to the Volcano. I used to visit frequently on business when I lived in Barbados. There was no boat hire there before but Antigua is very close and there are plenthy of charter operations there. Suggest you charter there if you want to see Monserrat.
