I have been using Startron. If I go to my local chandler he may well have a different brand. Are they all the same stuff? Is it ok to mix them?

Did you mean the de-emulsifying type?I have seen suggestions that it's a good idea to use both the emulisfying type and the bugicidal type.
I was thinking of the emulsifying sort (see E-ZOIL | Emulsification vs. Demulsification for the difference) but the general principle is the same: dealing with water in the fuel and also dealing with anything growing in the fuel.Did you mean the de-emulsifying type?
I've been using Fuel Set for many years, road diesel for the last 15 or so. No problems - so farFuel Set | Liquid Engineering UK Ltd
Not sure what happens if we mix emulsifiers with demulsifiers.I was thinking of the emulsifying sort (see E-ZOIL | Emulsification vs. Demulsification for the difference) but the general principle is the same: dealing with water in the fuel and also dealing with anything growing in the fuel.
Fuel Set is popular with some boaters, but note that it doesn't specifically kill diesel bug.
