To keep things moving on 06-10-2010 we send the following email, that suggests their surveyor to have a look at both price offers.
Again we state in this email that we want a quick and good solution for all parties.

"To keep things moving ...." the marina and PYS did not reply to more than 10 e-mails we sent them.

The surveyor compared the two offers. As a result, both offers are alike, even though one is 3000 Euros higher, since the lower one did not include all necessary repairs.

A quick solution looks very different!

If you had been going along with this, at this moment your boat probably would have been fully repaired.

None of the boats involved was repaired or even started to be repaired by Sept. 29. 2010 - 8 weeks after the accident happened.

The only thing is, that no company is willing to pay for " non existing" damages.

We only claim repairs as stated in the surveyor's report dated Sept, 10. After clearing up the chaos aboard caused by the accident we found additional damages. These were reportet accordingly to all parties. We even asked the surveyor for a second inspection after all damages were found, the surveyor replied that this is not necessary.

In general, since the Messolonghi Marina is trying to tell a false story, we will shortly publish the ENTIRE correspondence on the accident. We actually did not want to, but it is inacceptable not to comment how the marina is putting the things here.

Still - fact is, they caused an accident, and they are not willing to pay for a accurate repair. If our insureres had a chance to talk to their insurers, maybe things would look different today.

But the marina is not giving us this opportunity for more than 10 weeks now.
And "hiding" is not a solution - the "problem" will not go away.
