Android OpenCPN where's the paid for version?

I'm confused. I have a new tablet and I went to Play store to download the version that costs and couldn't find it. At least I downloaded what I thought was it and it didn't ask for money. Am I missing something?

If you've already paid for it in the past, using Google Pay, it won't ask for payment again.

Well, the first time you download/use Android OpenCPN (Dave Register version), Google Play will charge a small one-time fee (not sure what it is in UK... no more than 10€). Any future installs on different devices are free.

Charts are a separate issue: many are free (e.g., USA) , some cost (e.g., O-Charts).

OP seems to have left the scene....

Now I've had a look, it is a charge of £7.74 to buy...
Been a long time since I tried it on a tablet. I use it on a desktop computer and there's no charge for that.

Yes, most of the world has up to date charts available, from what I've seen. However, the UK wants paying for them...

Not left the scene just that Koeketiene answered my query. I think I may have bought a version back in 2018 so that's why I wasn't charged (perhaps?)
