Missing Coastguard cottages.

I have lost a whole row of pretty little coastguard cottages. They were right there the last time I looked (6 yrs ago) and now I cannot find them anywhere. Where did you last have them? I hear you cry. The last place I remember seeing them was on Lower Hope Point on the Thames Estuary a few miles down stream from Gravesend.

Does anyone know what happened to them? Why would anyone want to demolish such characterful des res's, rural location, superb sea-views etc?
