My genoa has developed a couple of small holes (each only circa 1/8 inch across) near the leach - probably cause by wear from furling. What is your advise about repair? I can think of two options (other than dont bother until it rips):
- Get a patch stitched across the holes
- Stick a patch of sail cloth over the holes using adhesive

The first seems more permanent, but will mean that the fabric will be weakened by more holes made by the stiches
The second seems temporary, but at least wont weaken the sail.

Suggestions?

YOU can by sticky back sail cloth and its great!!!!! as strong if not stronger than sewing, just take your sail off wash the areas of concern then cut the SBsailcloth to size make sure the corners if you have any are well rounded place the sail on a SMOOTH surface put the patch over the hole and rub with a roller or back of a spoon start from centre of repair and work out, then do same to other side of sail ,and there it is good to go.........keith
